Who is Deborah

Deborah has been a registered nurse since 1987 and she has worked in hospitals and private clinics since then, until 1999, when she quit working as a nurse to go back to school to learn Chinese medicine. She came from a perspective of skepticism with regard to alternative healing, hands-on energy work and meditation. Her life has been an eye opening journey which has led her now to do Reiki and to teach it.

Born in Colorado in July of 1958, Deborah Harris Skelton is an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. She is nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and she graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in July of 2003, passing all of the board exams shortly thereafter.

Deborah is a generous person with a loving heart. Having a strong background in traditional western medicine as well as in Oriental medicine, she brings her very well informed and competent, well rounded expertise to assist in your achievement of highest health. Schedule an appointment with Deborah at Twin Cranes Natural Healing Center in Boulder, CO, 303-449-2001.

Classes
Deborah is a Master-Teacher and she teaches Usui Reiki at four levels. Classes usually take a weekend and can be formatted for other time requirements.

Deborah also teaches partners massage. This is a nonsexual, four-hour class in which couples and paired singles are taught exercises to develop a stronger ability to listen and respond to the needs of a partner.

Sessions
Deborah does acupuncture, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, tuina, Jin Shin Do, Usui and Karuna Reiki, Cranial Sacral Therapy. Her work includes Melchizedek Method and sound healing work (toning, bowls, tuning forks and singing). She also does tandem sessions, in which she and  Brett work together with Reiki and/or massage to your highest good.

If we were not so single-minded about keeping our lives moving, and for once could do nothing, perhaps a huge silence might interrupt this sadness of never understanding ourselves and of threatening ourselves with death. Perhaps the earth can teach us as when everything seems dead and later proves to be alive.
